My Rant: 

When the author contacted me to review her book, I was skeptical.I did not think at all that this book would appeal to me. I was so wrong. I loved it. It was exquisitely dark but with a twist. When you begin to read the book your thinking that you are getting a book that is centered around kink. I mean less be honest it is but not in the way you think. There is quite a mystery that is attached to the story that really gets your blood pumping.


When you begin the book you walk in on the action between Ms. I am not a barbie and tanner12. You are scared but intrigued by the interlude between the characters. The author did an amazing job by vividly exploring these wicked emotions and screens with you. As soon as you begin to get completely comfortable with the plot, the story does a 360 in a good way. Your falling down a rabbit whole of emotions because not only are you like WTF, OMG who could do such a think and I wonder who the killer is. I know that this just may sound confusing and I am sorry if you feel like I am trowing it all together but I do not want to give any part of this story away. Those of you who like a little erotica with your suspense will be in for a treat when you read this book.

Now back to the story……. Our heroine has to track this killer down but she believes that the killer could be someone she met but have not seen and when she calls him out, you would think he would clear his name. but he doesn't he goes MIA and doesn't say anything to our girl. Now I am suspicious. once this happens the plot takes off and your chasing theories. Oh how I love a good mystery. You really don't want the killer to be the person we suspect from the beginning but all you can do at this point is ride out this awesome story to find out.

Lethal Obsession was Dark, Erotic and full of surprises. It is quite the page-turner. It was really easy to share a connection with the main character and walk with her through her experiences and emotions. You also have hot supporting characters that make your mouth water. So when Shandra said I have a book I know you would enjoy, I was so glad I did not refuse because I would have missed out on an amazing story.

My Recommendation: 

I rated this book 4 out of 5 Purple Rant Hearts and would recommend this book to anyone that likes their  erotica with a mysterious twist.
