One night while having dinner a stranger walks up to her and offers her a job of her dreams.

Tides Ebb by Alexandra Brenton

The story is about a boogie Lawyer who feels her love life is moving in the right direction. She has the perfect man, the perfect job and the feeling of being fulfilled until it all crashed down when she discovers her perfect man isn’t so perfect after all. The broken hearted Marianna has to figure out a way to overcome her heartache while on a special project in Rhode Island.  After an accident Marianna is saved by Larry, the big belly prude that’s set her life into perspective.  She is disgusted at him because he does not flock to her whims and also she is intrigued by Larry personality. She hates and wants him at the same time; the pull between the two emotions sets a new perspective for her and she finds out who she really is. 

I found this book interesting and was able to read it in one sitting and it was completely different from most of the books I read.

Futures and Frostings by Tara Sivec

In the second installment to the Chocolate Lovers Series, Carter is head over heels in love with Claire and is determined to move their relationship to the next level but after several failed proposal attempts, Carter begins to question whether or not Claire feels the same way about him. Claire is happy with the fact that her life is moving smoothly and Carter is a huge part of that. Claire’s business began to pick up but her world is turned upside down when she catches the bouquet at Jim and Liz’s wedding and the reality that she wants to be a bride sets in. Through miscommunication Claire feels that Carter is not the marrying type and that he likes the relationship as it is. Claire and Carter’s insecurities drive them into dysfunctional events to include sex shops, chocolate room explosions, severe hangovers and the sharing of pot cookies with family and friends.

The book is about a women name Claire, who vowed to remain child free to avoid the hardships of motherhood. In order to provide for her child Claire dropped out of college and moves back home to assist her friend in the unknown territory of selling sex toys.  During a night working at a bar Claire finally comes face to face with her mystery man (Carter), also known as the baby’s daddy.  Claire is shocked by the fact that he does not remember her, and she is reluctant to tell him about the one night stand and child they made together.

Marata Eros Author of The Druid Breeders

If you are not into Dark Erotica I suggest that you do not read this post but if you are interested you will be in for awesome treat.  A couple of weeks ago I happen to stumble across this authors work by picking up her first book in the series Druid Reapers.  I did not buy Druid Reapers for the reviews, since there were both negative and positive comments about the book. I decided that I should judge the book myself and besides the book was free on Amazon.  Besides what do I have to lose?  

The book was around 80 pages so I figured that I would be able to get through it quickly and fulfill my need to at least complete a book that particular night. I don’t know if that makes since to you all but I do have OCD when it comes to reading books. I hate having to set a book aside especially when I am in middle of the plot. When this happens I seem to think, dream and obsess about finishing the book. LOL :-).
