Comfort food took me by complete surprise. It was dark but at the same time enlightening. This book took me on a complete emotional roller-coaster ride. Most of the book was written from the females point of view but I liked the way the author gave insight to what the male was thinking. I felt like I was being romanced and enslaved at the same time.

I am so loving Dara adventures, the story line never dulls. I was excited when we got to see a repeat of characters from the first book Hard Lesson, especially Ryann.........Dang those boys were hot, but they were even hotter in The Boardroom. (giggles) What made the storyline even more appealing was the professor and his edgy swagga along with his DOM persona. Lol

Lately I have been trying to finish Sherrilyn Kenyons Dark Hunter series. I read this series by following Maryse @ www.maryse.net, recommendation to include the Chronicles of Nick. I was a little skeptical about reading the books since they were YA and somewhat a back story the Dark-Hunter series.

Taking Instruction took me completely by surprise; I love a man that is a geek with a sexy wicked side to him. I laughed so hard when the professor asked his brother (the officer) to read the girl her Miranda rights. “You have the right to remain silent anything in this room can and will be used against you” LMAO….. I rated this book 4 star because it was a short story but even though the book was short it was steamy hot. I am interested in picking up the next book in the series.

Here is another short story that I enjoyed so much that I completed the story in a ½ hour. I fell in love with Darq immediately. He had all the qualities of a bad boy with a paranormal twist. The book is about a woman who has decided to take her own ambitions back after a messy breakup. She always craved getting a tattoo but was too scared to get one because she was worried about what others would think of her if she did. Steadfast in her resolve she finally goes into tattoo parlor thinking she was going to come out with a tattoo, but in the end she gets more than what she bargained for. I heart this book. The reason why I didn’t give the book five stars was because I wanted some action. I love the romance but I like some action with it too. I would have loved to see the guardians throw down to protect their keepers.

For a while now I haven’t been reading much due to work and classes, I need to take for my certification. I just could not find time to get the reading in. While at a gathering with my girls I felt so left out of the book conversations because I was so behind on my reading. I decided this weekend I would pick my kindle up and get back in to the rhythm of enjoying my hobby. I started off by reading short erotic stories and once I completed them I was in a rut to figure out what I would read next. It is now 11 pm and decided to search through some of the paranormal short romance stories that I download from Amazon for free. As I was scrolling I came upon a book that caught my eye.
