My Rant: Loved this book. Evolution: Hex was adventurous. This book
picks back up where the last book left off which such and jaw dropping
cliffhanger. I am addicted to this series. This action packed book made me work
through so many emotions. I completely adore Candace. The things she goes
through in this book makes you connect with her even more. Your heart breaks
for her as she has to make decisions that cause her pain and makes her question
her own abilities. But what I like most about Candace, is how she thinks
through her problems and sort through her emotions when she at her lowest of
low. I also felt for Jaxon as well. Life is not all what it seems but everyone
has to work through some issues to make them better and stronger so that they
can go on to be, who they are meant to be. The author ‘s writing style entraps
you., breaks you and gives you the courage to keep turning the pages.. Because
in the mist of all the chaos, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
Evolution: Hex was riveting and exciting. The series gets better with each
installment. When I read these books I feel like reality is jaded and I want to
go back and live in the evolution world with all the characters I have attached
myself to in this series. I am so eager
to dive right into the next installment but we have to wait. Hopefully Ms.
Huchton won’t make us wait to long. I am placing Evolution: Hex on my favorite
reads list.

Her first novel, The Dreamer’s Thread was released as a full cast audiobook podcast, becoming a double-nominee and finalist for the 2010 Parsec Awards. All three books of the Evolution series will be released in 2014, as well as a Steampunk Fantasy novel, Master of Myth (the Antigone’s Wrath series, book 1), which was the first place winner of the Crested Butte Writers’ contest, The Sandy, in 2012.

I rated this book 4 out of 5 Purple Rant Hearts and would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys an adult superhero romance story with a blast of action.
