Here is my two cents into why I love mythology books, everything about the gods, especially Greek gods and their magic intrigues me. I fell in love with Greek gods especially when I started reading Sherrilyn Kenyon - The Dark Hunters Series. I completely loved this series because not only are the Gods ruthless, they are cunning, caring and Hot!!! literally and they have the ability to destroy or rebuild anything. My favorite God in this series was Acheron the son of the Destroyer. Acheron had the ability to smite whoever, pesky little human, other gods but he never abused his power. He was always caring and since he was the leader of the Dark Hunters he dedicated his existence to saving the human even when it would cost him the most.
