What is the book about?
Carolina Wilson has been unhappily married to her husband
David for years. Her life has been an
every day routine of being the model military wife that is constantly
conforming to her husband demands in order to limit the amount of anguish in
their marriage until she meets the wonderful and sexy Sebastian. Sebastian
teaches her to love and receive love and to dream about her future so that she
can chase and pursue after her wants and needs. He was the complete opposite of
David. He believed in her and that’s all she needed to fall head over heels in
love with him and he loves her but they cannot fully be together until she gets
a divorce and he turns 18. As their secret begins to rear its head and the truth
about their relationship is exposed, Carolina must choose love or do what she
vowed never to do, break Sebastian’s heart.
My Rant:
The education of Sebastian was
breathtakingly erotic and exhilarating! I was completely drawn into this book
from the first page. The story just flowed with ease. I got attached to the
characters especially Carolina.
The author has done a wonderful job of painting her character for the audience. She was strong but also weak at the same time. It was so easy to relate to Carolina being entrapped in a marriage by putting herself and her life on hold just to keep piece with her husband. She didn’t have a voice of her own because she married young just to get away from her relentless mother and because of that she didn’t take her time to get to know David she just jumped into a relationship that wasn’t good for her. Sebastian was young witty and deliciously fun. But he struggled with his own issues that were just as heart wrenching as Carolina’s. But what touched me the most is that he wore his heart on his sleeve. The author captured the emotions of the characters flawlessly. (Dabbing my eyes, I am tearing as I write this). I felt so attached to both character that when they experienced an emotion so did I. The steamy scenes seemed to fog up the glass mirrors and windows in my house…. Ok just so you know that’s how it appeared to me. Lol. The love and the lust was enough to get a heart pumping or even jump started again (giggles).

But what hit me the most was the ending.
"I walked away, leaving behind all the goodness and beauty that I’d ever known in my life".
The ending made me realize I was in love.
I was in love with this story when I felt my heart rip into tiny shards as I
slid against the wall with my kindle down to the floor sobbing like a child
that lost their best friend in the whole wide world clutching the book to my
heart screaming why, why, why would they be so cruel… and all the while my
family is looking at me like I lost my freaking mind, shaking their heads OMG
she reading another one of those books again. Anywho, you readers can relate to
me that is all that matters.
As I sat there and continued to
sob and gather my thoughts I began to get angry. There were things I needed to
know. This cant be the end! How could Ms. Berrick leave me like this! There has
to be more! I taped the kindle to scroll to the next page and there I found to
my relief that there would be a part two, TB released in 2/2013
